Those interested in old buildings will be surprised by the numerous magnificent Catalan towns and villages to discover: Collioure, the city of painting with its maze of colourful streets and its prized famous Catalan clock tower; the Vauban fortified citadel of Villefranche de Conflent; Font Romeu and its 'Four Solaire'; the abbey of St Martin du Canigou perched high up on the slopes of the mythical summit… these and so many more for your family to explore and enjoy.

Also in this region: the hot natural springs open to the public at Saint Thomas, thermal springs at Vernet or Ameilie les Bains.
The modern art museum in Ceret and the palace "Rois de Majorque" in Perpignan will give you another insight into the great heritage of this region .
