Argelès has 7km of sandy beaches (annually awarded with a blue flag) and 3km of creeks. An exceptional environment preserved between mountain and sea.
If Argeles is known for its natural beauty, it is also known for the quality and diversity of its entertainment programme. In the evening, stroll through the main centre and visit the nocturnal artisan market. Nightclubs and a casino are there for those wishing to go on into the night.
Argeles is equally an old Catalan village, narrow meandering streets which are filled with colour on market days: A typical French village with the church tower (14th Century), ramparts and a small Museum (la casa de les Albères).
